Parks & Recreation

The City of Brockton Parks Department exists to care for public lands and opportunities for personal growth. Through active and passive pursuits, we work with citizens of Brockton to provide opportunities to renew, restore, refresh and recreate, balancing often-stressful lives. It is our belief that well-balanced healthy people contribute to a productive and healthy community.

The Park Department is responsible for maintaining all city owned recreation facilities, D W Field Park, the adjacent golf course as well as more than 40 baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts and several Veterans Memorials and many smaller parks throughout the city.
