Parking Authority

The Parking Authority is charged with the responsibility of providing on and off street parking principally in the downtown area for promoting and easing congestion in the commercial district as well as promoting economic development and revitalization of the downtown business area. Brockton is growing economically and downtown is starting to thrive. Our goals and efforts are focused on supporting the residential and commercial flow and quality of life downtown. We strive to provide the highest levels of service at our parking facilities for our customers and to that end maintain our parking facilities in the best condition possible.

The following rates have been established by the Parking Authority Board of Commissioners to achieve the aforementioned goals:

Public Parking Lots:

Meters – 25 cents per 15 minutes
Parking permits:Monthly - $25 each
Daily - $3 per day

Online Parking Permit Payments

James J Adams Garage:

$2 per hour with a $10 maximum per day
Monthly permit - $30 each
Validation Books containing 100 hours of parking - $100

The James J Adams Garage is located at the corner of Main and Crescent Streets in Downtown Brockton. The main entrance for the garage is located at 42 Crescent Street.
